Brandon Hawkins
owner/instructor

Brandon is in his 12th year of baseball managing, coaching, and instructing. He has eight consecutive MABL World Series appearances, two Division titles, and one League title. Former Varsity Head Baseball Coach at San Pasqual High School (Escondido,CA). Currently coaches at Oceanside High School (Oceanside, CA).

Brandon is the conductor of all baseball camps/clinics and he is also the creator of the “Relax and Explode” hitting technique.

Tom “Bit” Afenir Tom Afenir Player Photo

After a great career at Escondido High and Palomar Community College, Bit was drafted out of Palomar and played professional ball (as a catcher) at an early age. Bit was also the MABL WS Home Run Derby champion in 2003. Catching is a difficult position to teach and learn, but Bit makes it easy and fun.

Tom is a former professional catcher for the Cleveland Indians organization and is currently an assistant coach at Escondido High School.

Garry Templeton II

instructor

As a resident of Poway, Garry played at Palomar Community college before getting drafted by the Anaheim Angels. Garry has also played for the S. Shore Rail Cats and for the California Cannons, where he received the 2003 World Series “Most Valuable Cannon” award. Garry has an easy going approach that the students enjoy, making him one of our most popular instructors. Garry is currently playing in the Golden Baseball League and is with the Fullerton Flyers.

Phil is a native of Poway, who played for the North County Waves, before going on to play professional ball with the S. Shore Rail Cats and currently with the Kansas City T-Bones. Nicked named “Double-Duty” for being capable of pitching and playing outfield at the professional level, Phil is great on the field and at helping out in the community. Whether at a clinic with kids or promotions with his team, he is a hit.
Robbie Trice Robbie Trice Player Photo

Robbie played three years of baseball at Kearney High School as a second baseman and outfielder and is currently in his 9th year of semi-pro baseball. Robbie has won his team’s World Series MVP Award & Team Regular season MVP (2002), Gold Glove/CF (2002) and Gold Glove/2B (2003).

As an instructor, Robbie uses his versatility to teach the kids. His great personality allows him to easily connect with the kids.
Marq Taylor

Marq has over 13 years of baseball instruction and coaching experience. He is the Manager of the All-Marine baseball team, based out of Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base (Oceanside, CA).
Vicky Reeves-Taylor
guest instructor/Softball Consultant

Vicky has over 15 years of softball managing, coaching, and instructing experience. She currently works with the nations top women's fast-pitch college athletes as a coach and instructor.

 

Stephanie Reinke
instructor / Softball Coach
Stephanie has over 14 years softball experience. She was a 4 year starting outfielder at Valparaiso University (Valparaiso, IN),a D1- Mid Continent Conference school. Post college, she played on the SoCal Misfits, an 18+ Competiitve Fastpitch team. Stephanie has coached at Elizabeth HS (Elizabeth, CO) both at the JV and V levels, the 16U-A Colorado Fire & Ice travel team and currently is the JV Softball Head Coach at Oceanside HS (Oceanside, CA) .
